The short version
- No account, no sign-in. Tarjuma never asks for a name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location.
- No ads, no tracking. The app has no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools.
- Your data stays on your phone. Downloads, settings, favourites and listening history are saved only on your phone and are never sent to TechAid.
- Only what audio needs. The app connects to audio.techaid.pk for the surah list and the audio, and asks only for internet and playback permissions.
Information the app does not collect
The app has no accounts and no sign-in. It does not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, location or any other personal details. It contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools.
Information stored on the phone
The following is saved only on the user's own phone and is never sent to TechAid:
- Downloaded audio, kept privately inside the app and encrypted.
- Settings, favourites, listening history and the position reached in each surah.
Removing downloads from the app, clearing the app data or uninstalling the app deletes this information.
Network use
The app connects to audio.techaid.pk to load the surah list and to stream or download audio. Like any website or file server, the server and its network provider (Cloudflare) may keep standard technical logs, such as the IP address and the time of a request, to keep the service secure and working. These logs are not used to identify or profile users.
Permissions
- Internet and network state: to stream and download audio and to detect Wi-Fi.
- Notifications and foreground service (media playback): to show playback controls and keep audio playing with the screen off.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
